Cette semaine dans le challenge carterie scrap de Less is More, où moins on en met, mieux c'est, il s'agissait d'utiliser des couleurs pastels. Je dois dire que j'ai eu un peu de mal, vu que les couleurs pastels, c'est pas trop mon fort. C'est trop...douceureux, gnangnans parfois, du moins dans l'idée que je m'en fais. Je préfère les couleurs qui tranchent.
Finalement, j'ai opté pour un thème blanc et bleu, et voici mes deux réalisations. Dont l'une m'a demandé beaucoup de patience, et a valu à mon chat d'entendre des mots que la bienséance m'interdit de reproduire ici!
So, second participation to the LIM challenges, and the pastel colors this week weren't, clearly, my favourite ones. I usually favour strong colors. I decided to go for blue and white.
On the first card, I stamped (Hero Art stamp, Meadow silhouette) with a mix of blues and mauves (Toga and Distress inks), added some beads and a ribbon. I wanted something a bit elegant.
For the second card, I wanted something fresh and spring-ish. I used a Prima flower, a button from my grandmother's sewing chest (you wouldn't know what you can find in these old chests, stashed away in the attic for years!) cord and a butterfly (french brand Artemio) stamped with Distress ink (tumbled glass). I took me ages to get the cord in the right way, but I'm quite happy with the result.
